Really Hobby Lobby?
So today I talked to some of the older design girls that have had my classes before. They were advising me to not wait til last minute to work on my models, especially the restaurant. Well how bout I panicked because I haven't even started on it and it's due April 6..approx 2 weeks. So this is just wonderful considering that I actually have not purchased my materials either. Sooo...i rush to my dorm right after my 9:25 class...pull out the floor plans, add up all the materials that i think i will need and i head off to Hobby Lobby. Me being really awesome decides that i will just go to a closer Hobby Lobby in Hixen. Therefore i get directions cause ive never been there and i am on my way. i make all the right turns so far and then i notice that the road names on my directions are not the same as the road signs. great. so now im in the ghetto...scary. i turn around thinking i must have missed the turn somehow. (by the way i have another class in like an hour) so i see the road i was suppose to,according to the directions, merge right onto...but yes, they were wrong, the road actually was on the left. never trust mapquest. so now im finally on the right path. Now just gotta find Hobby Lobby. its conveniently hidden amonxed other buildings with no sign on the road...so i definitely missed the entrance. Once inside i find my materials, borrow an architects scale from the shelf to measure everything properly...now for checking out. This is all great and wonderful except it cost 18 bucks...not cool. i have a wonderful drive back to my room, carry all my stuff inside, look at the receipt to make sure i have everything and it's added up correctly.....and then wouldnt you know, the stupid girl didn't put one of my main supplies in the bag!!! hate the world at this point. so i call them, explain the situation...yada yada yada... they have them on hold and i have to go back there and get them after my 4:20 class. the end.
